We are seeking an experienced Industrial Security Specialist to join our team at Toyon Research Corporation. As a Facility Security Officer/Office Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our classified facilities and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer security indoctrination briefings, refresher trainings, and debriefings
  • Provide training and awareness on emergency response protocols and safety guidelines for employees
  • Oversight for secure builds to the standards of the ICD 705
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation related to security incidents, audits, and training activities
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures
  • Coordinate physical security systems such as access control and intrusion detection
  • Perform Information System Security Manager (ISSM) tasks to include support of computer audits, virus definitions, back-ups, and accreditations
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial security environment
  • Well-developed communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Able to adapt to new tasks and meet challenging timelines
  • The ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and problem-solve
  • Proficient with Windows applications
  • Security + Certification
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
