About the Role

Avera Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Quality Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality improvement team, you will play a vital role in guiding our quality improvement activities and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Conduct data analysis and performance improvement activities to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement quality improvement plans
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide education and training to healthcare staff on quality improvement best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in healthcare quality improvement or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate: $44.25 per hour
  • Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00am-5:00pm, 80 hours every 2 weeks
