Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Housekeeper-General Maintenance Worker to perform housekeeping and maintenance activities to ensure a clean, comfortable, healthy, and safe environment for our residents, staff, and others. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of different types of flooring, chemical cleaning agents, and methods, tools, and equipment used in maintenance.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform housekeeping and maintenance activities to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Use hand tools and handle fairly light materials manually
  • Operate simple maintenance equipment and make minor mechanical repairs
  • Follow instructions, read and understand operational manuals, and keep simple records
  • Work in adverse weather conditions and perform assigned tasks with limited work direction
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of different types of flooring and chemical cleaning agents
  • Ability to use hand tools and handle fairly light materials manually
  • Ability to operate simple maintenance equipment and make minor mechanical repairs
  • Ability to follow instructions and read and understand operational manuals
