About the Role

Genesis Communications of Rochester seeks a seasoned Telecommunications Technician to contribute to our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data communication systems, as well as providing expert support to our telecommunications personnel.

Main Duties:
  1. Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of communication systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  2. Analyze and optimize voice and video configurations to minimize disruptions and enhance overall system efficiency.
  3. Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for telecommunications staff, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.
  4. Investigate customer complaints, identify root causes, and design effective solutions to resolve issues promptly.
  5. Manage inventory stock levels, placing orders and replenishing supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in telecommunications, electrical engineering, or related fields is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in telecommunications equipment is essential for success in this role.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are required for analyzing complex issues and designing effective solutions.
  • Attention to detail is crucial for ensuring high-quality work and minimizing errors.

Compensation and Benefits:
