Job Summary

Links Global seeks a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the implementation of a national program for building resilient infrastructure and communities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of project management experience, including 5 years in support of Government projects.

The Project Manager will be responsible for strategic planning, capacity-building, community engagement, and communications, as well as partnership building and hands-on technical assistance. The work location will be a combination of government offices, employee telework locations, and Links Global's offices in Maryland.

The successful candidate will have a B.A. or B.S. degree in a business-related field, with a Master's Degree preferred. They will also have a strong background in project management, with a minimum of 10 years of experience and at least 5 years in support of Government projects.

The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring contract conformance, organizing and directing operational support, and managing teams of contractor support personnel. They will also provide contract status reporting and documentation to the program manager.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of emergency management, crisis management, and resilience programs, and will be able to work effectively with government customers and Links Global staff and senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure contract conformance for all work performed under the performance work statement
  • Organize and direct operational support required to execute the work detailed within the PWS
  • Assemble and manage teams of contractor support personnel at multiple locations
  • Provide contract status reporting and documentation to the program manager
  • Manage teams of contract support personnel at multiple locations
  • Meet with government customers and Links Global staff and senior management to formulate and review project plans and deliverable items

Requirements:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree in a business-related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of project management experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in support of Government projects
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Experience in working with emergency management, crisis management, or resilience programs
