Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Newark Hospital. As a key member of our PACU department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Satisfaction. Engage with patients to understand their needs and preferences, and work with the care team to implement improvements that enhance the patient experience.
  • Medication Administration & Reporting. Safely administer medications and maintain accurate records, ensuring seamless communication with the care team.
  • Documentation. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, utilizing our electronic medical record system to ensure timely and efficient documentation.

Requirements

  • Education. Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) or equivalent.
  • Licenses/Certifications. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in New York State.
  • Physical Requirements. Medium work, requiring occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds and frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
