Job Title: Commissioning Foreman

Moore's Electrical & Mechanical is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commissioning Foreman to join our Projects team. As a Commissioning Foreman, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of mechanical systems on our commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans and strategies for projects
  • Ensure that building systems meet project requirements, design specifications, and industry standards
  • Coordinate and oversee the commissioning process, including installation and start-up of hydronic systems
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
  • Conduct inspections and tests to verify system performance and identify deficiencies or issues
  • Document and report commissioning activities, including commissioning documentation required per project
  • Communicate with managers on scheduling, manpower needs, and resources
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Three to five years of hands-on experience within commissioning or related experience
  • Extensive knowledge and work experience in the HVAC trade and general construction
  • High level of mechanical ability and strong working knowledge of electrical and BAS systems
  • Demonstrate professionalism at all times and ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels of management and colleagues
  • Driver's License and good DMV record
  • Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills
Physical Requirements:

The position of Commissioning Foreman requires frequent lifting and/or moving of objects that weigh up to 50lbs. Must have the ability to consistently climb a ladder, squat, kneel, twist, bend, and work above head and below waist. Exposed to constant work in outdoor weather conditions. Travel to jobsites will be necessary and would require the ability to walk on uneven, unclean terrain for several hours.
