About the Role

The Field Neurosciences Institute at MyMichigan Health is seeking a highly qualified Clinical Research Coordinator to conduct clinical research in neurosurgery. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with clinicians affiliated with FNI through MyMichigan Medical Center-Saginaw.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical outcomes research and analyze data from clinical registries and databases.
  • Collaborate with internal clinicians and faculty, as well as external institutes and agencies, to advance research productivity.
  • Work closely with the Medical Director of FNI to increase extramural funding and research productivity.
  • Develop and implement a competitive independent and/or collaborative clinical research program in Neuroscience/Neurosurgery.
  • Apply for and obtain external funding, independently and/or in collaboration with colleagues.
Requirements
  • MD/DO or PhD in neuroscience, health services research, health policy, public health, medical informatics, data analytics, clinical research, allied health, or a related field.
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills.
  • Experience with incorporating diversity, equity, and inclusion into research practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstration of successful engagement and partnership with clinicians.
