Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

The Erosion Company is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Cartersville/Woodstock, GA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our diesel trucks and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on diesel trucks and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Analyze diagnostic test results to identify and repair issues with engines, fuel systems, suspension, and electrical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Utilize maintenance software to track work orders and service records.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and high-quality results.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of diesel engine components, hydraulic systems, and diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Valid DL license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • ASE Diesel Certification is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the transportation industry or related field.
  • Bi-Lingual (English & Spanish) a plus.
  • Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and safety compliance.
