Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Worker to join our team at Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). This position involves performing routine and repetitive disassembly, repair, modification, assembly, testing, installation, and maintenance on equipment of limited complexity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and repetitive disassembly, repair, modification, assembly, testing, installation, and maintenance on equipment of limited complexity.
  • Operate automatic and standalone test equipment to test/troubleshoot WRA's and SRA's.
  • Use standard hand tools and a variety of test equipment such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, signal/pulse generators, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, and power supplies.
  • Assist higher graded workers in complex fabrication, overhaul, modification, installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of complete systems, subsystems, and components.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test is required.
  • Must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • Must be able to participate in medical surveillance programs.
Working Conditions

This position involves working in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Benefits

This is a bargaining unit position with a minimum salary of $23.07 and a maximum salary of $26.88.
