The Travel Nurse RN role is essential for providing high-quality patient care in various clinical settings. This position requires specialized skills and experience to manage complex patient needs effectively.
Certification Requirements- Certifications: ACLS, BLS are mandatory.
- License Status: Please specify the status of your WA nursing license: Active, In Process, or No License.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience is required.
- Floating Requirements: Must be willing to float between IMCU, Telemetry, and CDU units.
- Documentation System: Proficiency in EPIC is expected.
This role involves caring for patients with various diagnoses, including:
- Adult and Geriatric Patients
- General Respiratory Failure
- Cardiac and Renal Conditions
- CIWA and GI Issues
The nurse will work across two floors with:
- IMCU: 1:3 patient ratio
- Telemetry: 1:4 patient ratio
Only IMCU Level RNs will be considered for this position.
Essential SkillsKey competencies include:
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Administration of blood products and procedural sedation
- Chest tube management and tracheostomy care
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Pre/Post cardiac catheterization care
- Administration of Bipap and CPAP treatments
- Cardioversion and Defibrillation procedures
- Utilization of cooling and warming blankets
- Obtaining 12 Lead EKGs
This position is vital for ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a dynamic healthcare environment.
