Certification Requirements
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS are mandatory.
Job Specifications
  • License Status: Please specify the status of your WA nursing license: Active, In Process, or No License.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience is required.
  • Floating Requirements: Must be willing to float between IMCU, Telemetry, and CDU units.
  • Documentation System: Proficiency in EPIC is expected.
Patient Care Focus

This role involves caring for patients with various diagnoses, including:

  • Adult and Geriatric Patients
  • General Respiratory Failure
  • Cardiac and Renal Conditions
  • CIWA and GI Issues
Unit Details

The nurse will work across two floors with:

  • IMCU: 1:3 patient ratio
  • Telemetry: 1:4 patient ratio

Only IMCU Level RNs will be considered for this position.

Essential Skills

Key competencies include:

  • Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
  • Administration of blood products and procedural sedation
  • Chest tube management and tracheostomy care
Unit-Specific Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Pre/Post cardiac catheterization care
  • Administration of Bipap and CPAP treatments
  • Cardioversion and Defibrillation procedures
  • Utilization of cooling and warming blankets
  • Obtaining 12 Lead EKGs

This position is vital for ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a dynamic healthcare environment.
