Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels by managing online orders, adjusting order points, and conducting physical inventory preparations.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace that complies with company and regulatory standards.
  • Process written prescriptions on a daily basis.
  • Support team members in various tasks to enhance departmental efficiency.
  • Analyze service and business metrics, collaborating with the team on strategies for improvement.
  • Perform all essential duties of a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Greet and assist patients at all pharmacy entry points with warmth and professionalism.
  • Exhibit outstanding patient care by addressing and fulfilling all patient needs, including processing orders and directing inquiries to the pharmacist.
  • Complete sales transactions using the cash register in accordance with established procedures.
  • Contribute to the safe and efficient dispensing of medications and medical equipment by adhering to quality assurance policies.
  • Maintain compliance with all company and pharmacy regulations, including HIPAA and pseudoephedrine guidelines.
  • Accurately enter patient information and insurance details.
  • Document all prescription data, including calculations and specifications for medications and equipment.
  • Ensure proper documentation for insurance claims and review profiles for billing accuracy.
  • Notify pharmacists regarding drug utilization reviews and assist in resolving third-party rejections.
  • Process medical expense reports as needed.
  • Support the implementation of company initiatives and programs.
