Job Title: Quality Specialist

The Quality Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes. This position is responsible for inspecting finished products, collecting scrap, and collaborating with quality engineers to maintain our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate communication among production departments and management to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Implement the Quality Management System (QMS) structure according to company guidelines and quality systems.
  • Develop plant-specific quality procedures and instructions to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor, track, and analyze results to identify areas for improvement and implement recovery plans.
  • Perform internal system, process, and product audits to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Coordinate third-party audits and ensure customer systems are followed to address quality issues.
  • Draft and maintain logs, records, and documentation of testing procedures, methodologies, and criteria.
  • Draft and maintain standard operating procedures, manuals, and documentation for manufacturing and QA processes.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodology.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a related industrial, scientific, or business field preferred, with at least 1 year of related experience in manufacturing quality and production required. Alternatively, an AAS degree with at least 3-5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing facility is also acceptable.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
