Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care to residents in a safe and comfortable manner, consistent with community policy.
  • Promote and support residents' independence, dignity, and quality of life.
  • Assist in the implementation of care plans, observing and reporting on residents' conditions as required.
  • Comply with procedures for safe lifting and transfer of residents, performing moderate to heavy lifting as needed.
  • Ensure equipment is clean and functional, performing incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • State certification as a nursing assistant.
  • Complete familiarity with CNA duties.
  • Highly developed observation skills.
