Position Overview:

The Senior Solutions Architect will be responsible for delivering capabilities that assist clients in the swift design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and operation of specific software and hardware solutions to address current Cyber Defensive requirements.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and construct components that encompass networking, security, identity, governance, development, and operations within client environments.
  • Transform solutions from proof-of-concept to production by utilizing automation for consistency, maintainability, and to uphold standards, starting with automated testing and advancing through the Dev/Ops pipeline to automated deployment.
  • Advise on and, if sanctioned, implement emerging tools and methodologies to automate existing workflows and design new virtualized and cloud-based infrastructures with an infrastructure as code approach; script and deploy infrastructure elements.
  • Provide insights and knowledge regarding the latest trends, technologies, solutions, and best practices in virtualization, cloud computing, and DevOps.
  • Offer options for integrating DevSecOps processes with firmware and hardware components.
  • Develop proof-of-concept prototypes using automation to ensure repeatability, maintainability, and adherence to standards, cyber security, and program safety.

Compensation:

Compensation ranges from $85 to $110 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on various factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will commence on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and access to a 401k retirement account with employer matching.

Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as mandated by applicable law.

Qualifications:
  • Secret Clearance
  • One or more of the following certifications: Security+, CISSP, CISA, CASP+
  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Solutions Architect, with significant experience in cloud services or related technologies.
  • Working knowledge of cross-domain solutions (CDS) implementations and capabilities.
  • Deep technical understanding of cloud infrastructure, services, and hybrid-cloud strategies.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex customer architectures.
  • Ability to document and create repeatable standard processes, tools, and frameworks for large-scale adoption.
  • Customer-focused mentality with a strong emphasis on delivering value to clients.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the capability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent partner management skills with experience in building and nurturing strategic partnerships.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • 5 or more years of experience in infrastructure solution architecture.
  • 3 or more years of experience in building cloud architecture with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience in software integration with hardware platforms.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in defining and managing software requirements, design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging, software development lifecycle, architecture, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as encryption, certificates, and key management.
