Oral Surgeon Job Summary

We are seeking a board-certified/-eligible oral surgeon to join our well-respected OMS practice in southwest Michigan. As an oral surgeon, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dentoalveolar and implant surgery, and working collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interview, examine, and treat clinical patients to meet their medical needs
  • Provide education on wellness, prevention, and early detection to patients and families
  • Determine referrals and follow-up appointments based on examination and patient needs
  • Exercise final medical judgment in all health care issues
  • Prescribe medical treatment and clinical drugs to patients
  • Order studies, tests, and ancillary services
  • Document all services in patient medical records
  • Consult with Medical Director and other professionals as needed
  • Participate in process improvement, management, continuing education, and other patient care programs
Requirements:
  • Medical degree and 2 years of direct or intern experience
  • Current Medical License in the state of Michigan
  • Current DEA and DPS Certificate of Registration
  • Maintain all requirements for medical staff privileges
Work Environment:

This position is full-time, four days per week, and includes health insurance, a profit-sharing plan, bonus opportunities, and a car allowance. Salaries starting for associates are $340,000, with an integrated buy-in over 5 years and a $20,000 signing bonus.
