We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Patient Care. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs related to functional status/mobility, endurance/stamina, pain and other medical conditions. Your primary goal will be to develop and implement effective treatment plans to improve patients' well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' functional status and physical therapy needs, assisting physicians in developing therapy plans of care.
- Observe and report patients' responses to treatment and any changes in their condition to supervising nurses and/or physicians.
- Treat patients to relieve pain, develop and restore function, and maintain maximum functioning using acceptable standards of practice.
- Inform patients, families, and healthcare teams about treatment plans, functional limitations, and progress toward goals.
Licensure and Certification:
- Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of NJ.
- Current CPR certification.
- Must have a current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle.
