Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Engineer to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a Building Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical aspects of our properties, ensuring that they are safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and adjustments to building systems and equipment.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and take corrective action to prevent damage or safety hazards.
  • Respond to guest requests and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
  • Certification in a related field, such as HVAC or electrical.
