We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team of travel nurses. This 13-week assignment in Tyler, Texas offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Job Summary:

This Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position requires a highly motivated and experienced professional to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and delivery nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and obstetric emergencies.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in labor and delivery nursing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
