We are seeking a skilled Charge Nurse - Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at American Health Partners. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing and rehab facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized healthcare to residents and administer prescribed treatments, including changing dressings, drawing blood, managing catheters, inserting or removing NG tubes, conducting lab work, and more.
- Supervise nursing aides and support staff on a daily basis, ensuring their well-being and safety.
- Handle administrative tasks such as documenting assessments, managing inventory, requisitioning supplies and equipment, and assisting with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Perform emergency procedures such as CPR when required.
- Licensed in the state of Tennessee as an LPN
- Current CPR certification
- Flexibility to work varied hours, potential overtime, shifts, and weekends
- Occasional lifting of objects up to 50 pounds may be necessary
- Supervisory experience in managing support staff, including training, scheduling, performance reviews, and issue resolution.
