About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team at Pinnacle Treatment Centers. As a key member of our treatment team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive psychological therapy and substance abuse counseling to patients struggling with addiction.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient
  • Provide group and family therapy sessions to promote healing and recovery
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment strategies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and continuity
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling
  • Minimum of one year of experience in substance abuse counseling or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of addiction treatment principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
