Job Overview

Position Summary:

The role involves essential mechanical tasks in the assembly of transformers, including tanking and wiring.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execute mechanical operations required for transformer assembly.
  2. Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and written guidelines.
  3. Utilize various electrical testing devices for control wiring assessments.
  4. Lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs. as needed.
  5. Work safely from ladders, lifts, and scaffolding.
  6. Perform tasks on elevated platforms and in confined spaces.
  7. Safely and efficiently operate tools such as saws, grinders, and drill presses.
  8. Layout, cut, thread, and bend conduit as per specifications.
  9. Engage in soldering, brazing, and aluminum welding, with certification testing.
  10. Receive training for operating fork trucks and cranes.
  11. Follow verbal instructions from supervisors and designated personnel.
  12. Adhere to company standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
  13. Possess personal tools necessary for the role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
