Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at PTS Advance. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the mechanical integrity of our facilities and equipment, while also supervising the inspection, repair, and maintenance of mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Mechanical Integrity: Develop and implement mechanical integrity programs to ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
  • Supervise Maintenance Activities: Supervise the inspection, repair, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems, ensuring that all work is performed by qualified and certified personnel.
  • Coordinate Maintenance Scheduling: Review, plan, and schedule maintenance activities to ensure optimal efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Develop and Maintain Procedures: Develop, maintain, and oversee coating programs for mechanical equipment, including tanks, pumps, pipes, and exchangers.
  • Ensure Safety and Environmental Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with safety and environmental regulations, and that all personnel are trained and equipped to perform their duties safely.
  • Communicate Effectively: Facilitate effective communication between management and employees on all matters related to safety, and communicate to management employees' safety questions and concerns.
  • Develop and Maintain Equipment Hierarchy: Develop and maintain equipment hierarchy and asset identification of field equipment, instrumentation, spare equipment inventory, critical equipment, and integrity equipment for Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Risk Based Mechanical Integrity (RBMI) programs and data bases.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: At least three (3) years of experience as a practicing engineer.
  • Certifications: API 653/API 510/API 570 certifications preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, process safety management, and reliability practices. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, drawings, and charts. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
