Pediatric Clinic Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Care Specialist to join our team at Rural Health Group in Whitakers, NC. This full-time role involves working with children and requires excellent communication skills.

Estimated Salary: $23-$30 per hour

The ideal candidate will have a North Carolina LPN or RN license, or MA Certification/Registration, and prior experience in an outpatient physician office setting. A strong understanding of disease management and the ability to provide patient education are also essential.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Clinical Skills: Phlebotomy, equipment usage (EKG, clinitek, Hemoglobin), documentation, tracking and maintaining medical data, immunization, injections, IV therapy.
  • Requirements:
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Active North Carolina LPN or RN license, or MA Certification/Registration
    • Prior experience in an outpatient physician office setting strongly preferred
    • Excellent organizational, telephone and communication skills
    • Ability to apply good judgment while carrying out responsibilities
    • Pleasant, professional approach; must be able to work well with the public and provide excellent internal and external customer service
