Position Overview:

Job Details:
- Start Date: Immediate
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shift Length: 12 hours

Patient Care Ratio:
- 1:1 during 2nd stage labor and C/S circulating
- 1:3-4 in triage
- Early labor 1:2-3
- Active labor 1:2

Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience required
- First-time travelers and travel pairs are not accepted
- Availability for every other weekend, Labor Day, and one winter holiday

Certifications:
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM
- AWHONN Intermediate Level required prior to start

Special Skills:
- Antepartum care including EFM, sterile speculum exams, NSTs, and OCTs
- Proficient in external fetal monitoring and recognition of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
- Strong IV skills (No PICC lines)
- Experience managing antihypertensives, magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin, and pain medications
- Required to circulate for C-sections; scrubbing for C-sections is highly preferred
- Neonatal care in the delivery room

- Annual Deliveries: Approximately 1000
- Total Staffed Beds: 7 LDRs, 2 ORs, 3 bed L&D triage, and 20 bed Mother-Baby Unit

- Charting System: AllScripts Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM); GE Centricity Fetal Surveillance and Documentation system
- Parking: Cost varies based on structure
