This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of Yokohama Tire Corporation's products meets customer expectations and regulatory requirements. The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's Quality Management System (QMS).

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure QMS conformity to customer, regulatory, and legal requirements (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, FMVSS, etc.)
Conduct periodic reviews of the QMS and make recommendations for improvements as necessary
Interpret and comply with Yokohama Standards (YS)
Collaborate with Corporate Quality on tire quality incidents in the field
Communicate quality and product safety status to leadership and production
Evaluate and report on vendor quality systems
Manage internal process monitoring, measurement, and review
Lead a team of quality engineers, inspectors, auditors, analysts, and technicians

Requirements:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
Ability to operate under deadlines while meeting standards
Attention to details
Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
Effective written/oral communication
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to handle stress

Education and Experience:

~7+ years experience in a manufacturing environment (rubber experience preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's degree in Math, Applied Science, or Engineering
Master's degree in a relevant field (optional)

Travel Requirements:

Up to 4 months overseas training if necessary
As necessary to accomplish tasks and goals
