Radiology Imaging Specialist

- Perform and assist with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
- Document patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
- Confirm patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
- Prepare and administer contrast media as required.
- Consult with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
- Select and operate equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedure and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
- Maintain appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
This role requires strenuous physical effort while assisting patients from wheelchairs and stretchers. You will handle equipment and monitoring supplies. Good oral and written communication skills are necessary to interact with patients and hospital staff. You may be required to frequently stretch, bend, twist, squat or kneel in operating radiographic equipment.
