Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Systems Manager to join our team at American Alarms. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing field technicians and ensuring the installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of fire systems wiring and equipment meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to field technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to install, test, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems.
  • Project Management: Coordinate scheduling, train new and existing technicians, and conduct site surveys and estimates to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is in accordance with relevant codes and standards, including OSHA requirements, and maintain a high level of quality assurance.
  • Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of fire technicians, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure they meet their performance goals.
  • Training and Development: Stay current with changing technology, including software and field services programs, and provide training and development opportunities to team members.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Four-year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Minimum Level II, or III NICET certification, or ESA Equivalent, and local and state fire alarm license.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand for long periods of time, and reach with hands or arms for an extended period.
