Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at the Midwest Cardiovascular Institute. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients, working closely with our medical staff to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures, using a variety of techniques and protocols to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Position patients and equipment to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures, taking into account patient comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures, including patient information, imaging protocols, and image quality.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines and ensure efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and/or Registered in Computed Tomography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines and ensure efficient workflow.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a CT imaging department or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of imaging protocols and techniques, including CT scanning and image reconstruction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient care and safety.
