Piedmont Macon North Hospital is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist I to join our team in the Operating Room. As a Surgical Technologist I, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures, including handling instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Function in partnership with licensed staff to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and transfer to and from the operating room.
- Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, including instrument counts and supply usage.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and technologies.
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Graduate of a Surgical Technology program or prior experience as a Surgical Technologist.
This is a full-time position working in a fast-paced hospital environment. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and maintain a high level of professionalism in a dynamic environment.
