Job Summary: As a Unit Manager Registered Nurse (RN), you will oversee the care, systems, and processes that deliver exceptional resident care. If you are a compassionate and enthusiastic RN with leadership experience in long-term care, this opportunity may be perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise nursing care provided by nursing assistants, licensed vocational/practical nurses, and others.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
  • Interview, recommend hires, and train employees.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work.
  • Promote and protect residents' rights; assist residents to make informed decisions; treat residents with dignity and respect.


Requirements:
  • Must possess valid unencumbered RN state license.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Two years of experience preferred as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related healthcare facility.
  • Must have at least six months experience in rehab and restorative nursing practices.
  • Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
  • Must successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical/drug screen.


Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year based on location and experience.
