Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with engineers and developers to design and implement real-time mission-critical engine test systems that meet reliability and performance requirements.
  • Work closely with technology suppliers, service partners, and contracted resources to facilitate development and support.
  • Participate in problem-solving and management of change as we expand functionality and scope for new environments and airborne platform variants.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • 4+ years of experience in software development and embedded systems design, including device drivers or system interface design.
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or STEM majors.
  • Must be a US Citizen and capable of obtaining a U.S. security clearance.

Skills and Qualities

We are looking for someone with strong skills in software development, particularly in object-oriented programming and C++. Experience with mission- or safety-sensitive environments, such as industrial controls, is also highly valued. In addition, you should have knowledge of best practices for the software development life cycle, such as captured by CMMI, and experience with verification or regression testing.
