We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Peraton. This is a full-time onsite position that will support the development and testing of signature control technologies for naval platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Design, fabricate, and test R&D articles using Solidworks and other tools
- Collaborate with technicians to perform fabrication and testing activities
- Support installation and testing of components on model scale and full-scale platforms
- Develop briefs and presentations on designed articles
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 5-7 years of experience or Master's Degree in Engineering and 3-5 years of experience
- Experience with Solidworks and MS Office Suite
- Active DoD SECRET clearance
- Fabrication experience with shop tools and hand tools
- Component test design and execution experience
- Shipyard experience
