Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Seasonal Recreation Ambassador to join our team. As a key resource for all recreation activities, you will provide information to guests about available facilities and encourage participation in various activities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key resource for all recreation activities facilitated on the property.
  • Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities.
  • Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities.
  • Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
  • Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facilities for safety and welfare.
  • Observe activity in recreational facilities and respond appropriately in emergencies.
  • Provide cashier services when working in facilities with point-of-sale transactions.
  • Assist with private functions within recreation facilities.
  • Be aware of situations where guests cannot safely participate in an activity and inform supervisor/manager.
  • Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
  • Clean and maintain recreational facilities, equipment, and supplies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No related work experience necessary.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • CPR certification and first aid certification required.
  • Recreation equipment knowledge preferred.
