Job Title: Companion Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Companion Caregiver to join our team at Visiting Angels in Bettendorf. As a Companion Caregiver, you will provide personalized care and support to senior adults and individuals in need, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping
  • Accompany clients to appointments and outings
  • Report any changes or concerns to the client's family or healthcare provider

Requirements:

  • Passion for serving others and making a positive impact on people's lives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
