Job Title: Production Technician with Mechanical Skills

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Production Technician with Mechanical Skills to join our team at The Manufacturing Company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling components and subassemblies while ensuring quality control standards are met.

About the Job:

This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be part of a dynamic team that manufactures passenger train interiors and components.

Responsibilities:

  • Component Assembly: Assemble parts and subassemblies according to blueprint specifications and instructions.
  • Quality Control: Verify specifications by measuring completed components and resolve assembly problems to meet quality standards.
  • Maintenance and Safety: Maintain equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Skill Development: Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, including training on new tools and processes.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Prior experience in manufacturing, quality control, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and basic computer skills.
