This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading supplier of structural building products as a Load Builder. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient loading and unloading of materials onto and from pallets, trucks, and customer vehicles.

• Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trucks, or customer vehicles, and secure them with strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Load Balancing: Determine the weight, composition, and placement of loads based on customer orders and the capacity of vehicles to ensure loads are balanced and safe for hauling.
• Material Movement: Move materials to or from storage to designated areas using hand trucks, electric dollies, forklifts, or other devices.
• Container Handling: Open containers, units, slings, and loads using appropriate hand tools and attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on containers for correct identification.

• Forklift Certification: Possess a valid forklift certification.
• Education: Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Three months of experience performing similar tasks or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Product Knowledge: Have sufficient knowledge of company products to consider weight, shape, and handling requirements.
• Physical Demands: Be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds, and perform tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing, or kneeling.
