Genomics Scientist

We are seeking a skilled Genomics Scientist specializing in NGS Assays to contribute to our innovative projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will:
- Conduct a variety of functional genomics assays, including bulk RNA sequencing and single-cell sequencing on diverse biological samples.
- Develop and execute PCR-based assays, such as quantitative PCR and reverse transcription PCR.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, ensuring efficient and independent execution of routine protocols.
- Troubleshoot scientific challenges effectively and apply basic scientific principles to problem-solving.
- Manage laboratory supplies and maintain an organized workspace.
- Communicate findings clearly and defend research results both verbally and in written formats.
- Draft and revise protocols and procedures with minimal oversight.
- Handle data with integrity and adhere to ethical standards; contribute to technical documentation and presentations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and maintain accurate records in line with standard operating procedures.
- Exhibit a solid understanding of next-generation sequencing technologies and functional genomics.
- Demonstrate proficiency in molecular biology techniques and cell culture practices.
- Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment, showcasing excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Possess strong oral and written communication abilities, ensuring transparency and consistency in all interactions.
The ideal candidate will hold a Master's degree from an accredited institution and possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in molecular biology, cell biology, or a related scientific field.
