Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Clinic Nurse to join our team at Bienville Orthopaedic Specialists. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate the collection of documentation required prior to patient visits, including lab results, x-rays, and physician notes.
- Assist with patient assessments, adapting procedures to meet individual patient needs and treatment stages.
- Ensure patients are prepared for physician visits, coordinating logistics as needed.
- Prepare equipment and assist providers during treatments, examinations, and procedures.
- Chart physician orders and document treatment plans, observing and recording patient reactions and progress.
- Administer general nursing care and medications as directed.
- Coordinate discharge instructions, follow-up care, diagnostic tests, and medication management.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, doctors, and families, addressing questions and concerns.
- Graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
- Current Mississippi Nursing license and BLS certification.
- 1-3 years RN experience; Orthopedic or Med-Surg experience preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build effective working relationships.
- Proficiency in electronic records systems.
