Maintenance Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Craftsman to join our team at RennickBarrett Recruiting, INC. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the construction, maintenance, and repair of district buildings and facilities.

• Paint district rental homes, buildings, structures, and other items using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
• Scrape and sand surfaces to remove old paint or excess filler; mix and apply putty, spackle, or other filler material.
• Apply primer or base and finish coats; mix and match colors by blending portions of pigments, base, and thinner.
• Measure, cut, fit, nail, or bolt materials into a complete form using various hand and power tools.
• Build and repair various wooden structures, including concrete forms and scaffolds.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete for various district projects such as substation transformer pads, anchor cones, fence, and curb lines.

• High school equivalency and one year of directly related experience in building and maintenance trades.
• A valid driver's license issued by the State of California, Department of Motor Vehicles is required.
• Ability to work in outside weather conditions and direct sunlight; exposed to fumes, smoke, dust, and airborne particles; toxic, caustic, and combustible chemicals; vibration from operating electric and pneumatic powered hand tools and while operating vehicle over uneven road surfaces.
