At Kiddie Academy of Mercer Crossing, we're seeking a motivated and experienced Child Care Assistant Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll play a vital role in managing and assisting the Director in all aspects of the Academy's operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of Kiddie Academy's Philosophy, Mission, Core Values, Life Essentials curriculum, and programs to build the brand, relationships, and business.
  • Assume full responsibility for Academy management in the Director's absence.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws, as well as all Kiddie Academy standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in completing and submitting the required paperwork and record-keeping.
  • Take an active role in planning and participating in academy activities (staff meetings, training sessions, open houses).
  • Perform all duties of Academy educator as needed. Accept temporary work assignments as needed.
  • Manage staff scheduling, recruitment efforts, interviews, and the hiring process.
  • Manage enrollment inquiries, marketing, and Academy tours to increase enrollment.
  • Assist in recognizing parental concerns, consulting with the director, and responding professionally to parents' needs.
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Two or more years of experience working in a Licensed child care center.
  • Texas Director's License or be able to acquire a License within 180 days of employment.
  • Must be able to lift no less than 40 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the workday to at least chest high.
