Primary Purpose:
To provide high-quality care in a residential setting, enabling participants with special needs to achieve their full potential in terms of physical, emotional, and mental well-being, while adhering to CCARC policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effective Communication:
- Communicate respectfully and professionally with teams, family members, guardians, DDS, and external healthcare providers, including daily observations and reports of physical or behavioral changes.
- Coordinate health and hygiene-related appointments.
- Personal Care and Support:
- Assist with personal care, hygiene, and treatments, including medication administration and vital sign recording.
- Provide education on personal hygiene, grooming, and behavioral conduct, promoting self-esteem.
- Coordinate social and recreational activities, shopping, and safe transportation.
- General Housekeeping and Laundry.
- Nutritional Support: Monitor residents at mealtime according to food consistency guidelines.
- Emergency Procedures and Record-Keeping:
- Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and respond appropriately.
- Manage and record household petty cash, food, and house money, adhering to CCARC policies.
- Collaboration and Adherence:
- Collaborate to resolve conflicts, obstacles, and challenges, seeking guidance as needed.
- Adhere to universal precautions, OSHA standards, and infection control policies.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Valid Driver's License, insurable with Agency carrier
