Overview

General Physician, P.C. is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Hamburg, NY. As a key member of our primary care office, you will provide exceptional patient care and support our healthcare providers in delivering high-quality medical services.

Responsibilities

Administer general nursing care under the direction of healthcare providers
Prepare patients for examinations, including preliminary physical tests and interviews
Handle chart preparation and point-of-care testing
Administer medications, and injections, and collect lab specimens
Complete prior authorizations for diagnostic testing and medications
Ensure proper follow-up and communication to avoid unnecessary hospital readmissions
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment
Manage clinical supplies, stock, and exam rooms
Assist in office treatments and examinations
Deliver top-notch customer service for a positive patient experience

Requirements

New York State LPN license in good standing
Proven work experience in a healthcare facility is preferred
Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT Codes, CPR Certification, and strong clinical skills preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills with computer proficiency
