Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Fort Mill Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care given to inpatients and outpatients requiring respiratory therapy services.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' respiratory status and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement and evaluate respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Document patient information and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited and approved Respiratory Care Technician or Therapist program
  • Associate degree required
  • No previous experience required; 2 to 5 years of job-related experience preferred
  • NICU experience preferred
  • Minimum of CRTT required; RRT preferred
  • Current BLS required through approved provider (American Heart Association) upon hire
  • NRP, PALS, ACLS certifications required within orientation
  • Current Respiratory Therapy Licensure through South Carolina Medical
