Arboriculture Specialist

About the Role:

Bartlett Tree Experts is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Arborist Ground Person to join our team. As an Arborist Ground Person, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our tree care crews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Arborist Climbers and Arborist Crew Leaders in performing various tasks, including pruning, rigging, cabling, and removal of hazardous trees.
• Properly maintain and operate equipment, such as hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
• Implement work zone safety procedures and adhere to all safety rules and company safety policies.
• Assist with driving, backing, dumping, and parking duties.

Requirements:

• A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors.
• Interest in working outdoors year-round performing manual labor in all weather conditions.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to participate within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Prior tree care, landscaping, forestry, or horticulture experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Landscape Management, Environmental Science or a related field is preferred but not required.
