Job Overview

A Cardiac Surgery Advanced Practice Provider is needed to work at a Level II trauma hospital in Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have experience working within CV Surgery/CV ICU and be certified in Board of Medicine for the state.

This locum tenens opportunity offers flexible scheduling, including day and night shifts. Coverage may last long-term, with potential opportunities for permanent placement. An intensivist is always on site, and a cardiac surgeon is available on call for support.

The hospital has 16 beds in their ICU and 16 beds in their step-down unit, making it an exciting place to work. Their open-heart program performs over 600 procedures per year, while their TAVR team sees more than 500 patients annually. They also have a busy patient load with over 1,800 cases per year.
