We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Internal Float Pool team at Loma Linda University Medical Center-Murrieta. As a Float Pool Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a variety of clinical settings, adapting to changing needs and priorities with flexibility and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities- Float to multiple inpatient and outpatient units/departments to supplement staffing resources and cover high census needs, sick calls, vacations, and vacancies.
- Utilize discretion and independent judgment in applying the nursing process to provide age-specific and developmentally appropriate quality patient care.
- Apply theoretical concepts to clinical practice, continually expanding knowledge base and clinical skills.
- Function in a skills mix environment, directly supervising and delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff.
- Provide excellent customer service, safe patient care, and professionalism in a culturally diverse workforce and patient population.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum two years clinical nursing experience in respective neighborhood required.
- Current California Registered Nurse license required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.
