Job Summary

The Endovascular Nurse Specialist at Northside Hospital plays a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians during extremity endovascular catheterizations, interventional procedures, fistula creations, bypasses, and other vascular procedures by circulating and monitoring for procedures.
  • Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training, one (1) of which must have been in an ICU, CCU, Cath Lab, Hybrid OR / EVOR, Interventional Radiology, or Operating Room procedural environment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
