Auto Damage Appraiser

We are a leading provider of automotive services, committed to delivering excellence in our communities. As an auto damage appraiser at CGR-28 Anderson Greer, LLC, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve this goal.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

As an auto damage appraiser, your primary responsibility will be to assess vehicle damage and determine the cost of repair for insurance claim settlement. This involves examining damaged vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, or interior damage, estimating the cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item, and reviewing repair cost estimates with our team.

You will also be responsible for determining the feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders, and doors, evaluating the practicality of repair as opposed to payment of vehicle market value before accident, determining salvage value on total vehicle loss, and preparing insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimates and recommendations.

In addition, you will estimate the cost of repainting, converting to special purposes, or customizing undamaged vehicles, follow up with customers on vehicle process, assist in workflow, and assist in quality control.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Damage Analysis and Estimating Certification for Collision Repair.
• Mechanical and Electrical Components Certification for Collision Repair.
• Non-Structural Analysis and Damage Repair Certification for Collision Repair.
• Painting and Refinishing Certification for Collision Repair.
• Structural Analysis and Damage Repair Certification for Collision Repair.
• I-CAR Certificate of Advanced Training.
• Valid Driver's License.
