At Care Network of Gladstone LLC, our staff members are expected to take on a multifaceted role that goes beyond conventional job expectations. Alongside fulfilling essential resident care responsibilities, employees may also be required to assist with various other duties such as caregiving, meal preparation, or housekeeping to ensure the comfort and well-being of our residents. This collaborative environment demands adaptability, a readiness to shift roles, and a dedication to providing holistic support across different areas.
Shift Hours:
6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
10:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct assistance to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
- Support residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Facilitate mobility and transfers, employing appropriate lifting and transfer techniques.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' physical and emotional states to nursing staff.
- Assist with meal service and provide feeding support to residents as necessary.
- Ensure a clean and safe living environment for residents, including changing linens, making beds, and tidying resident areas.
- Engage in resident activities and promote socialization opportunities.
- Maintain precise documentation of resident care and observations.
- Exhibit strong teamwork skills and communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned, including caregiving, meal preparation, or housekeeping.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a residential care facility or assisted living environment is preferred.
- Availability to work every other weekend, including Sundays, is required.
